Senior Pastor — Rick White
Rick has served as the senior pastor of Christian Fellowship since the church’s inception in 2003. He has a B.S. in Pastoral Ministry and Evangelism, a master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Master’s of Divinity. He has over 30 years of service in ministry, as well as 20 years in education as a classroom teacher, coach and principal. He has been married to Susan for 27 years. They have three children – Jordan, Chase and Luke, and 6 grandchildren.
Director of Discipleship - Michael Derrick
Michael and Vande Derrick grew up about 90 miles southeast of Houston, Texas in an area known as The Golden Triangle. Their story began in March of 1981 at an in-home Amway business opportunity in Beaumont, Texas. It was love at first sight for Michael and after some persuading Vande said yes. In September 1981 they said, “I Do.” 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 40 years later they are still “I Doing.” While living in Las Vegas in the late 1980’s they became involved in various capacities of Christian ministry. In 1992 Michael graduated Bible College in Dallas at The Preston Road Center for Christian Education. In addition to Bible College both Michael and Vande furthered their training through Vision Life Ministries in Lewisville, Texas. In August of 2003 the Lord awakened their true gifting for working with the Holy Spirit in liberating people from the strongholds of detrimental life controlling issues through sound Biblical counseling, prayer, deliverance, and inner healing thereby bringing hope, peace, and wholeness to broken, shattered lives.
Associate Pastor - Jonathan Bottoms
Jonathan grew up in Denver Colorado where his family pastored a church. In 2012 he relocated to Dallas Texas to pursue a degree in ministry at Southwestern Assemblies of God University. In 2016, after graduating with a bachelors in ministry with an emphasis on family ministry and marrying his wife, Amanda, he accepted a position as Family Life Pastor at Christian Fellowship. Jonathan and Amanda have served on staff at Christian Fellowship in several capacities since 2016. They and their two children (Eloise and Ezra) have a deep love for Beaumont and a passion for building healthy communities that enable people to grow into who God designed them to be.
Worship Pastor - Courtney Wallace
Courtney Wallace has served as Worship Pastor at Christian Fellowship Church since July 2023. A Southeast Texas native, she discovered her love for music at an early age and spent her school years competing and placing in All-Region, All-District, All-Area, and All-State Choir competitions. Her passion for worship and excellence in music continues to shape the way she leads the congregation each week.
Courtney is married to her childhood sweetheart, Stephen, and together they have four children: Rowdy, Lyren, Lillian, and Lydia. She is currently completing her final year at Nelson University, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Church Leadership. During her studies, she has been recognized for academic excellence by earning both Dean's List and President's List honors and was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa, the national honor society for religious studies and theology.
Courtney is passionate about creating an atmosphere where people can encounter the presence of God through authentic, Christ-centered worship. Her desire is to lead with humility, serve faithfully, and help others grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus through worship, discipleship, and the teaching of God's Word.
Children’s Pastor - Trenton Boyett
Trenton has been a member of Christian Fellowship since the birth of the church 20 years ago. He loves his church community and has had the privilege of growing up with Christian Fellowship as his church home. He is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at LAMAR University. He has a passion for helping children develop a deep and authentic faith is Jesus.
